The 2009 April Fool's joke fooled many unsuspecting CHC members including teachers, schoolgirls and fledgling housewives.
Gloucester City and Lansdown Merger
After disappointing league seasons local rivals Gloucester City and Lansdown have decided to abandon all hockey activity and merge with Cheltenham Hockey Club.
Before the Executive Committee ratifies such a proposal club members are being asked to visit the Gloucester City Hockey and Lansdown Hockey merger page to voice any concerns.
Tom Cole - June 2008
Photos can be cruel things...the front player in this shot is our very own Men's 1st X1 player, Tom Cole. In this photo, Tom was preparing for the Men's vase final with his old club Andover. We hope they won so they had something to put those ridiculous button hole roses in!!!
Richard Fynn - November 2007
I'm sure you have all met Richard Fynn, new to CHC this season. Well what you may not yet know (and we're sure that Richard will be delighted that we are sharing this with you) is that Richard is THE FACE of a nationwide marketing campaign. "He is a REAL person with a REAL smile". And he's also the Men's 1s highest goal scorer. Famous and successful. How sickening.
