Directions
From M5 Northbound
Leave the M5 at junction 11A and take the A417 towards Cirencester. The road starts as a dual carriageway then becomes a three lane road as it rises up Crickley Hill. At the top of Crickey Hill there is a roundabout with the Air Balloon pub on the right. Go straight across the roundabout and onto the A436. Follow the A436 for approximately two miles until you have to give way at the point where it crosses the A435 at Seven Springs (supposedly the source of the River Thames). Turn left onto the A435 towards Cheltenham.
Follow the A435 for approximately two miles as it drops down into Charlton Kings. You will pass the Little Owl pub on the right. Continue on the A435 and you will come to some traffic lights. Turn right at the lights into Lyfield Road.
Proceed for approximately 200 yards past some shops on the left to a mini roundabout. At the mini roundabout turn right into Copt Elm Road. Go up to the top of the road (maybe 100 yards) and turn left into Church Street. The church is on your right.
Continue straight along Church Street past some shops on your right and down the hill. Do not follow the road round to the right where it stays close to the church. About 600 yards after the church turn right into Balcarras Road, then second right into the Balcarras Sports Centre car park.
From M5 Southbound
Come off the M5 at junction 11 and follow the A40 into Cheltenham. Go straight over the Golden Valley roundabout, past GCHQ and straight over the next roundabout. You will reach some traffic lights between a TGI Friday restaurant on the right and a Jeep/Lotus garage on the left. Go straight through the lights and continue along the Lansdown Road towards the centre of Cheltenham.
Continue along the road until you reach another set of traffic lights just before a Texaco garage on the right. Get in the right hand lane and bear right then turn immediately left into Andover Road. Continue along past the shops on the right and the road becomes Suffolk Road.
Follow Suffolk Road through a set of traffic lights and past various antique shops until you come to the main set of traffic lights with a bank on the right and Cheltenham College ahead. Go straight on into Thirlestaine Road. Go to the end of Thirlestaine road and turn right at the mini roundabout into Old Bath Road. Go straight on (East Glos Tennis Club is on your left) for half a mile to a mini roundabout. Turn left at the mini roundabout into Charlton Lane. The road becomes Greenhills Road and bends sharply to the left about 400 yards after the mini roundbout.
After the sharp bend continue to follow the road which is now called Moorend Road. After approximately 600 yards you will arrive at some traffic lights with Sacred Hearts church on your left. Go straight on at the traffic lights, crossing Cirencester Road and going into Lyfield Road.
