RACE NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE

Saturday 8th March, Race Night at the Clubhouse

Don’t miss out on the next club social!

Anyone who has taken part in a race night before will know what's in store. The evening will be packed full of fun and excitement, as teams bet against each other, in the hope of backing the winning horse. The team that backs the most winners throughout the evening will be rewarded with prizes.

VP DAY

VP Day is a great day for CHC as it is an opportunity for us to catch up with club players from the past and celebrate the strong history of CHC. The highlight of the day is the hockey match between a select Presidents XI and the VPs.

Please come and support the event on Saturday April 12th 2008.

DINNER DANCE

Don't forget to buy your tickets for the annual end of season Dinner Dance, which will take place at the Racecourse, on Saturday April 12th 2008. Ticket price is £35 per person if you pay by the end of March, £40 after. To reserve your tickets email sophyj@hotmail.com. Arrive 7.30pm for pre-dinner drinks. Carriages at 1am.

ENGLAND HOCKEY ROAD SHOWS 2008

The England Hockey Directors are hitting the road again to bring you the 2008 Hockey Road Shows in April this year.

If you want to be updated on England Hockey’s Single System implementation in your area, the new England Hockey Personal Membership Scheme and have your chance to quiz the Directors then book your place (free of charge) with your regional office as listed below. There will be an open Q & A session on the night but, if you want your question prioritised then email it in advance to: hockeyroadshows2008@englandhockey.org detailing which road show you are attending. Several copies of England Hockey’s Annual Report will soon be mailed to all clubs and it will be on the web site. The Roads Shows are your chance to ask us about what's in it.

All road shows start at 19.30 prompt, tea & coffee will be available from 19.00. The West Meeting will take place on Monday 14th April at Taunton Vale Sports Club. Register your attendance with west@englandhockey.org 01392 264031
