CHELTENHAM 2XI 2 CARDIFF AND UWIC 2XI 4
CHELTENHAM'S unbeaten start to the season came to a disappointing end in this top-of-the-table clash.
They found themselves two goals behind after 20 minutes following a pair of what they believed were questionable umpiring decisions.
The first was a penalty stroke against goalkeeper Stephens, and the second allowed a goal following a dangerous shot from the Cardiff forward which hit McLester in the chest before going into the goal.
Cheltenham then showed the resilience and Character which saw them claim the North Two title last year, as Pritchard fired home following some quick thinking in midfield by Horne.
The second half began brightly for Cheltenham but as the home team pushed for an equaliser, the game became stretched and Cardiff capitalised by scoring on the break.
The visitors extended their lead further with 10 minutes remaining before Pritchard scored his second of the match.
