Fifi's Fabulous Chocolate Biscuit Squares
This is a very yummy and very easy recipe. You can use any dried fruit; small bits work best, such as cranberrys and raisins. You can buy seeds in packs that are already mixed, which should save additional time.
What you need:
- 150g butter/marg
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 4 tablespoons of syrup
- 200g biscuits
- 200g chocolate
What you do:
- Crush the biscuits in a food processor or place in a large food bag and smash them with a rolling pin!! (please take care whilst doing this. I can accept no responsibility for any injury or damage during this process)
- Place the butter, sugar, cocoa and syrup into a pan and heat gently until the sugar has dissolved
- Add the crushed biscuits and stir until fully coated
- Press into a baking tray and allow to cool
- Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water
- Pour the chocolate over the biscuit base and cool
- Cut into squares and share with your team mates
What you do:
- Why not add some raisins, dates, apricots or nuts into the base. You may need to add more liquid to ensure you get a good consistency
- Choose some different biscuits and/or chocolate
Enjoy!
