This event will be hosted by the men’s coach Lee Robson (Robbo). It will be a fun, interactive, thought provoking evening in which Robbo will take us through all aspects of being great hockey players. Come prepared with questions and ready to take on challenges

CHC Club Day - Sunday 20th September
This year we are reintroducing the CHC Club Day. The day will take the form of a 6-aside mixed tournament, to be held at the clubhouse, on Sunday 20th September, from 11am to 4pm. Following the prize giving at 4pm, there will be a quiz (included in your entry cost!) that you can take part in, with your 6-aside team mates. We welcome all players, of all ages, and of all standards, and players will be allocated to teams upon arrival.

Knobbly Knees
From the HA: Every Female Athlete Has An Achilles' Heel - HER KNEES. The statistics are startling - female athletes in specific sports are 4 to 7 times more likely to injure their knees than men. SportsPerform and Dean Close School would like to invite you to a presentation on this crucial topic, the programme will include:
- The anatomy of the knee - Kate Markland (Chartered Physiotherapist, The Markland Clinic)
- The incidence of knee injury in female athletes - Dr Mark De Ste Croix (Reader in Sport and Exercise Physiology, University of Gloucestershire)
- The diagnosis, management and long term consequences of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture - Mr Harminder Gosal (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Cheltenham Knee Unit)
- Why women are at greater risk of knee injury and how they can be prevented - Kate Markland (Chartered Physiotherapist, The Markland Clinic, Gloucestershire)

Saturday April 4th - Dinner Dance
Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Dinner Dance at the Queen's. With over 90 CHC members in attendance, it was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Vice Presidents Day
Vice Presidents Day is one of the most important days in the club's calendar, as it is a chance to honour club members from the past who have made an outstanding contribution to CHC over the years, and a great opportunity to celebrate our club's strong history. We'd like to thank everyone who attended on Saturday April 12th.

Race Night at the Clubhouse
Anyone who has taken part in a race night before, knew what was in store. The evening was packed full of fun and excitement, as teams bet against each other, in the hope of backing the winning horse. The team that backed the most winners throughout the evening, was rewarded with prizes. Jonny Bryan’s team won, betting lots of money on the last horse to win. The Ladies 1s also did well, wining £33,000 on one race! Thanks to all for making it a really great night. There will definitely be a follow up next year!

Xmas Factor
During this evening of glitz and glamour, each team was invited to entertain the rest of the club with a cabaret act. Will an all star panel of judges the night was a huge success with some memorable performances. Don't forget to check out the photo gallery for pictures of the event.
