CHC Team of the Year, the Ladies 2s had their most successful season to date. They finished the league unbeaten, 16 points ahead of their nearest rivals. They played 18 league games, of which they won 14 and drew 4, earning a massive 56 points. The ladies 2s scored a phenomenal 64 league goals and only conceded 12 all season. The top goal scorer was Sophie Jowett, with 15 goals, with Karen Keating netting an impressive 11 and Vanessa Burton scoring 7. Sophie Jowett was named the Ladies 2s Player of the Year.

Highlights to the season included beating Wootton Bassett 11-1, and Bretforton 9-0. The Ladies 2s would like to thank all coaches and umpires for their support throughout the season as well as Simone for providing the photography to accompany the match reports that were printed in the local paper.

Season 2008-2009 bodes well for the Ladies 2s who, having gained promotion, will re-enter the North Division.
