A strong Oxford side punished a slow and sluggish start by the girls scoring three goals inside the opening 15 minutes. At 3-0 down the girls showed great determination to get a foot hold back into the game and for the remaining 55 minutes the girls started to get on top and produce the better chances.
HT: 0-3
Oxford were always dangerous on the counterattack with some very quick players and it was a quick counterattack that resulted in their fourth goal from a PC.
The girls continued to push for a goal and it finally came when Isla produced a little bit of individual magic to score from the tightest of angles. The remaining 5 / 10 minutes the girls worked extremely hard and pushed for a second goal but sadly to no avail.

A super valiant effort by the girls who should be extremely proud of their efforts today.. Oxford were a strong team with quick runners and took their opportunities well. We wish them well in the next round.
